Why I wrote “Move Your Grooves”
I want to share why I chose to write my upcoming book, "Move Your Grooves." It hasn't been easy. Writing this book challenged me to stay authentic amidst fears of judgment and rejection.
Ultimately, my deep desire to give back outweighs these fears. Over the decades, therapists, coaches, and authors have profoundly impacted my life. They helped me conquer my extreme self-hatred and continually discover my true worth. Without their guidance, I wouldn't be the person I am today. Even now, I depend on others for support and guidance. We all need help to navigate the complexities within us—that relentless ChatterBox that never seems to quiet down.
My goal is simple: to assist at least one person in moving beyond their own self-hatred quicker than I did.
The tools in my book reflect my personal journey of self-discovery. However, there are no one-size-fits-all "fix you" steps. This is a deeply personal process that everyone must navigate in their own way.
Moreover, I believe that helping others will bring meaning to my own struggles. It's crucial to recognize that we're never alone in our stories.
Remember, we are in this dance of life together.
